Building Lacuna
Building Lacuna
My journey of building a both a home and a private practice from a blank space, with a vision of creating a blank space to offer to the world.
My journey of building a both a home and a private practice from a blank space, with a vision of creating a blank space to offer to the world.
If I had a world of my own,
Everything would be nonsense.
Nothing would be what it is,
Because everything would be what it isn't.
And contrary-wise, what is, wouldn't be.
And what is, it wouldn't be.
You see?

The Build Starts

After months and months of what is best described as stagnancy, a long waiting game and a definate trial of patience, the build has started. The energy on the site is incredible. I am so grateful to the universe for bringing all these people together to build, with their energy and their hands, our home.

As the snow starts to melt, today I was granted an address for Lacuna. I couldn't resist the photo opportunity with these kids; this little sign being the very first tangible marking of where their home will grow.
And me, I imagine what this sign will mean to those who visit me here, and what energies will flow past it, in and out of this space.
This sign marks the rabbit hole to a world of my own!

Welcome to Lacuna!
I am so excited to share the ongoing process of building with the world.
Lacuna is borne of a dream and a vision I have for what I want to offer to the world: a blank space in which missing parts of oneself may be accessed and where one learns not only how to heal themselves, but that they had this ability all along.
People are amazing.
This first photo is of myself standing in my blank space; the wooden stakes in the ground mark the corners of where my little house will stand. I'm filled with gratitude for the ability to engage in this process and for this piece of land my parents have gifted me. I'm so grateful to the earth, for letting me build here, and to the universe, aligning just so to make this dream a reality. And I feel immensely honored that when this project is complete, I will offer this positivity back to the universe by using these gifts to give back.
